Philly Tastemakers: BETH BEVERLY of DIAMOND TOOTH TAXIDERMY

A few weeks ago, we had the pleasure of sitting down with artist and taxidermist Beth Beverly in her South Philly studio before we whisked away a handful of her precious pieces to their temporary home at HyLo Boutiques.

Beth spoke to us about the origins of her taxidermy business, Diamond Tooth, the pleasures of working in a vacuum, and what it means to be a rogue taxidermist with next-to-no competition.

Earlier this month, HyLo Boutiques showcased creative endeavors by Beverly and fellow Philadelphia artisan Bela Shehu with the exhibition Sweet Surrender.

Join us at the studio tomorrow, March 12th, for our Second Tuesday last call custom fitting with apparel designer Bela Shehu and a last look at Beth Beverly‘s taxidermy treasures!
